all flooring brands
Treeco offers three main kinds of hardwood flooring:
- Solid Hardwood: Usually sold as unfinished wood planks, solid hardwood is intended to be finished after it is installed on-site. We carry several brands of solid hardwood from different mills, in a wide variety of species.
- Engineered Hardwood: Sold as finished planks. We carry several brands from different mills, in a wide variety of species. We also design and sell our own in-house brand, Timeless Wood Floors.
- Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT): LVT can look like wide-plank hardwood, tile, or stone. The brand we carry, Gemcore, is a hybrid floor that is made of 70% stone, so it is very strong and requires no finishing. It is ideal for commercial or heavily-trafficked areas, and where waterproof or below-grade installations are needed.
Solid and Engineered Hardwood
Appalachian is a fully-Canadian manufacturer of hardwoods, sourcing hardwood from the Appalchian mountain range in Quebec. They have a wide colour palette of unfinished and finished solids, as well as engineered floors, and are continuously innovating.
Solid Hardwood
Engineered Hardwood
Graf Custom Hardwood puts a lot of personality into their hardwood products. All domestically sourced, the company is based in Ohio, and offers a variety of less-common cuts of solid, engineered, unfinished and prefinished hardwood. They also do extra-wide plank, extra-long planks, and their signature rift and quartered look, which is visually stunning.
Solid Hardwood
Engineered Hardwood
Monarch is a design-focused, high-end, wide-plank engineered hardwood brand, favouring finishing techniques that enhance, rather than cover, the natural beauty the wood species. They have a modern, west-coast style with unique widths and surface treatments.
Engineered Hardwood
Robinson is based in New Orleans, but sources exotic wood from South America, with many family members working in Brazil. Some of their species include Brazilian Cherry (Jatoba), Chestnut (Sucupira), Teak (Cumaru), Walnut (Ipe), Carribean Heart Pine (Prime), Santos Mahogany. Operating since 1893, they are the one South American supplier we trust for responsible harvesting of tropical wood.
Solid Hardwood
Shoega represents the origin of solid hardwood flooring, and their floors are considered lifetime products. This makes them great for additions and repairs - as they can be resanded 4-5 times. Their prefinished variety is also extremely wear resistent.
Engineered Hardwood
Timeless is Treeco's own brand of engineered hardwood, offering affordable quality and timeless elegance. Our team designs and updates it each year to suit Canadian regional variations in style, climate and humidity, resulting in over 20 unique and ever-changing collections. Launched in 2012, our species include Maple, Oak, Birch and Walnut with textures from smooth to wire-brushed, hand sculpted and traditional. Timeless is only sold through authorized dealers.
Engineered Hardwood
Unity is an unfinished solid hardwood flooring brand that manufactures in Illinois, on the southwest side of Chicago. As a solid hardwood, each plank is made from only one type of wood, meaning they can be refinished 4 - 5 times before ever needing replacement.
Luxury Tile
While you might categorize Gemcore as a Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT), it is actually 70% stone composite, making it extremely durable. But in addition to tiles, two of our collections also come in planks (called LVP - Luxury Vinyl Planks) instead of tiles. Its popularity is continuing to grow as it performs well in high-wear areas where hardwood would not, for a fraction of the installed cost.
